At a time when the world of pet-lovers slowly recover from the loss of Grumpy Cat, the Ohio Shelter presents Giggles the Scowling Cat.

The task of seeking a forever home for Animals is difficult, but it gets more difficult when the animal doesn’t look friendly one bit.

Giggles is just one weird scowling cat with a permanent scowl as his facial expression.

Since his appearance at the Riggi Rescue in Summit County, Ohio, most visitors have been wowed by the feline’s permanent scowl.

However, the Ohio Shelter Assures everyone that Giggles the Scowling Cat Is Sweet and Charming

the Ohio Shelter notes:

If he (Giggles) is angry about anything, it’s because you aren’t petting him.

“For those who don’t know Giggles story, he’s not mad, he’s quite happy, sweet and charming,”

Riggi Rescue further wrote on Instagram on Monday.

He was surrendered by a Good Samaritan with several ticks on him and a mild bite wound. If he’s angry about anything, it’s because you aren’t petting him.

Over the weekend, the nonprofit organization shared more photographs of the poor cat, insisting that he was happy (and not angered or upset during the photo session).

The Ohio Shelter posted more details about Giggles the Scowling Cat on Facebook in a gallery of snapshots — stating that this is his permanent face.

The Ohio Shelter added that Giggles the Scowling Cat was strolling the streets for some time before he was picked up by a Good Samaritan and brought to them.

He had many ticks, and a wound from a bite on his neck from a catfight. He wasn’t neutered.

He’s just one of so many needing our help

Giggles the Scowling Cat has become a local idol, with thousands of people wishing to add the cat to their household.

On Wednesday, Riggi Shelter posted a photo of the sleepy cat on Instagram, writing that the Scowling Cat had a long day.

 “Giggles is ready to call it a night after an exhausting day. #giggles #gigglesthecat #riggirescue #madcat #grumpycat #bedtime #rbf #nopicturesplease,”.

The Riggi Rescue centre had affirmed earlier this week that Giggles has a likely forever home lined up.

Here’s hoping that adorable Giggles the Scowling Cat gets a deserving home and continues to wow pet-lovers with his awkward but unique permanent scowl.
