The Voice has crowned a new champion. His name is Carter Rubin.

Performer Carter Rubin gave Team Gwen its first win in Tuesday Season’s Finale of the famed The Voice.

Rubin defeated four other contestants, consisting of John Holiday (from John Legend’s lineup), Desz (from Kelly Clarkson’s squad) and Jim Ranger and Ian Flanigan (who were part of Blake Shelton’s team).

With his victory, 15-year-old Rubin becomes the show’s youngest male winner ever and one of the youngest champions ever, following in the footsteps of Season 14 champ Brynn Cartelli [who was also 15 years when she won[.

“Oh my God, we won!” coach Gwen Stefani exclaimed in a reaction video shared on social media, alongside Rubin. “This is so crazy. We’re trying to understand that this is happening right now.”
