Music legend sir Victor Uwaifo passed on at age 80.
Lendary highlife musician, Sir Victor Uwaifo died on Saturday at the age of 80 in Benin City.
The music legend, whose tracks like “Joromi” and “Mammy Water” were certified hits, was a versatile instrumentalist, vocalist, writer, and a renowned virtual artist.
One of his son’s, Uwaifo Peter de Rock, broke the news of the death of the University of Benin’ lecturer of Visual Arts on his social media page on Saturday evening.
