At least 21 people, including 19 children, are dead after an active shooter incident on Tuesday sent a Texas elementary school into lockdown, authorities confirmed.
The suspect in the shooting is dead, according to Governor Greg Abbott. Following the incident at Robb Elementary, victims were taken to Uvalde Memorial Hospital and University Hospital in San Antonio, per statements from the hospitals.
