Hungary vs England: England lost for the first time since the Euro 2020 final!
Hungary’s Dominik Szoboszlai scored the winner from the spot, after being fouled by Recce James, with the penalty decision sparking plenty of debate.
Hungary thus register their first win over England since May 1962 at the FIFA World Cup – eight years and 95 days before manager Gareth Southgate was even born. Today’s victory ended a 15-match winless run against the Three Lions for the Hungarians.
