The Anniversary of Mike Tyson’s First Round Victory over Bruce Seldon in Las Vegas on September 7 1996 invokes sad memories of 2pac Shakur’s demise.
The legendary American rapper was shot on the night of September 7, 1996, after he left the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where Tyson fought Bruce Seldon.
Tyson stopped Seldon in the very first round to capture the WBA heavyweight world title and he celebrated his victory with Tupac.

The rare but special moment between both icons was captured backstage as the close friends celebrated the joy of victory.
After attending the Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon fight at MGM Las Vegas, Tupac Shakur was shot four times.
The celebrations didnt last long though. Tupac was shortly hospitalised after being hit with multiple gunshots at the intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane in front of the Maxim Hotel.
The late rapper was a passenger in Suge Knight’s car at the corner of Flamingo Rd and Koval Lane in Las Vegas, NV on that tragic night of September 7, 1996.
Shakur passed away seven days later, leaving the world stunned in one of the most high profile unresolved crime cases globally.
24 years later, we are still expecting the resolution of the case.
